A bookmarklet is a browser bookmark that runs a small script on the page you're viewing instead of opening a URL. Reddive's bookmarklet loads the live comment stream overlay directly on Reddit threads.
Public threads work without logging in. For NSFW or private subreddits, you'll need to be signed in to reddit.com — Reddive falls back to your browser session automatically when needed.
The browser extension works on mobile Chrome. Bookmarklets work best on desktop; on other mobile browsers you can paste the bookmarklet link as a bookmark URL, but support varies.
Reddive never sees your password. For public threads it reads Reddit's open JSON feed with no login at all. When a thread requires sign-in, it uses the same session your browser already has on reddit.com — nothing is sent to our servers.
Yes. Send them reddive.pages.dev. They install once and it works for any thread they open.
Click the Reddive bookmark once after a refresh to reopen the stream. Use the toolbar Refresh button inside Reddive to reload comments without leaving the live view. If Reddit's page update knocks the overlay loose, Reddive re-attaches itself automatically.
On very hot threads Reddit may briefly throttle requests. Reddive backs off automatically, keeps your loaded comments visible, and retries. Use Pause during quiet stretches if needed.
