Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 18, 2026
Reddive is a free browser tool for watching live Reddit comment threads. This policy applies to the Reddive website (reddive.pages.dev), bookmarklet, and browser extension.
Summary
- No user data is collected, stored, or transmitted by Reddive.
- No external servers receive your Reddit activity, comments, or identity.
- No analytics, tracking, advertising, or cookies are used by Reddive.
How Reddive works
Reddive runs entirely in your browser. The Reddive website only hosts the JavaScript file for the bookmarklet. The browser extension bundles the same script locally — nothing is loaded from third-party servers at runtime.
For public Reddit threads, Reddive reads Reddit's public JSON feed
(thread.json) without logging in and without sending
data to Reddive.
For login-gated threads (e.g. some NSFW or private subreddits), Reddive may use your existing reddit.com browser session only when the public feed is unavailable. This happens on reddit.com in your browser — Reddive never sees your Reddit password.
Browser extension permissions
The Reddive extension requests access to reddit.com only, so it can
inject the live stream overlay on comment pages you open. The storage
permission is reserved for optional local settings; no personal data is synced anywhere.
Third parties
Reddive is not affiliated with Reddit, Inc. When you use Reddive, Reddit's own terms and privacy policy apply to your use of reddit.com.
